“You want fries with that?”

There are about a million things you can connect to a phone or a phone system.  Overhead paging.  Music-on-hold.  Messaging-on hold.  Corded headsets.  Cordless headsets.  Battery back-up.  Fancy, aerodynamic, conference phones.  OK, so there’s not quite a million.

Overhead paging can be enabled with the touch of a button from the phone.   Beckon employees in a cavernous warehouse or a noisy production floor.  Or have the phone ring-over-page during the night shift.  Some of your employees might like to get on the paging system and say something like “please keep your hands and arms inside the building until it comes to a complete stop.” Fortunately, overhead paging can be disabled just as easily as you enabled it.

Did you ever get put on hold and wonder if they disconnected you?  That’s because they didn’t have music-on-hold.  Did you ever get back on the phone after holding for a few minutes and order the super-deluxe model?  That’s because they did have messaging-on-hold.  Ask us about our specials on MOH when we come back to the line.

Over-the head.  Behind the head.  Over the head.  Behind the neck.  Corded.  Cordless.  Clueless?   Headsets can make anyone who uses a computer more efficient.  We can get you the brand-name headset you saw on headsetsbyhosam.com for about the same price.  The difference is that Hosam won’t come install and adjust that headset for you.  We will.

If the power goes out, your phone system will go out with it.*  Plugging the phone system into the same UPS as your servers will work, but it will drain the battery in that UPS that much faster – and it’ll probably last about 30 minutes at most.  A dedicated battery backup will last up to 14 hours, depending on your system’s components, and will allow you to make and receive calls in the as if the lights were on.  If it lasts longer than 4 hours, call your doctor.  (*Note that phone system data is saved in memory with its own built-in battery and furthermore backed up on a chip, so when the power is restored, everything will be copasetic.)

Those space-age looking conference phones?  We sell ‘em.  Same prices you’ll see at any on-line merchant, but we’ll deliver and install them for you.  They’re good because they “full-duplex”, allowing your people and their people to talk simultaneously.  Though we’d recommend listening at least half the time, too.
